The South Florida Water Management District has issued a water shortage warning, and the drought level has been raised to a D2 by the U.S. Drought Monitor.
It is strongly recommended that any plans for re-sodding or re-landscaping be postponed at this time. Customers should irrigate accordingly following their two-day-a-week cycle as posted on the website (irrigation schedule) and use water conservatively.
This severe drought condition is affecting counties throughout Florida including Osceola, Polk, and Orange.
